Can we create Purchase Order Without Generating of the Purchase Order Number?

Mr. jayakanth with ME51N we can create purchase requisition right? then that purchase requisition we can use for the creation of purchase order its automatically or manually right? But can we create this purchase order without purchase order number? and what is non PO invoice how can we create non PO invoice in SAP?

You can use DUMMY PO in document type or you can take the PO to check and if not saved, it does not create a PO.
