SAP_ESS 633 release , ess~lea.sda Deployment is not possible ...

Hi,

I am trying to deploy the ess~lea.sda to the NW 730 EP. I am not able to deploy it due to the following error :

Please let me know if anyone already resolved this kind of issue.

Do you have Solution Manager installed, which will calculate the correct SPs to be applied

Can you confirm that SAP_ESS 633 and NW 730 are the correct product versions ? - I am not aware of any versions of this name - I guess though there could be new and ramp-up version available though

When does this error occur - during live Leave Request useage in the Portal - or after an SP application or upgrade ? - using SDM ? - or is this a fresh install where you are deploying SAP_ESS initially via SDM ?

Usually Lea is deployed as part of ESS BP - not as a separate sda - please clarify why this is deployed separately - OR are you deploying the whole BP - only this part is failing

Hi ,

This version is not yet released to the customer. It's still in its early stages.

During the deployment of the component itself I am getting this error.

I have tried deployig the component SAP_ESS as well as ess~lea.sda alone using TELNET and even from NW Developer Studio .

JSPM --> SAP_ESS also failed.

it will work on this portal version as well, please verify

the link above gives the compatibilty of all the versions

Yes , you are right it has to work in all the versions. Unfortunatly in this case the SAP_ESS version is 633 SP0 and the NW 730

which could not be find in the link provided. Or I could not understand properly the table.

so is there any other way to find out the cause, feel free to ask if you need any technical information. Log files etc ..,

Thank you for replying to this thread. But the link you have given is generic. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

I am trying to deploy SAP_ESS 633 release to NW 730 portal. Do I have to see any other dependent component and version of it?

The same SAP_ESS 633 works fine on NW 702 release.

Please help me to solve this issue.

Hi Sumanth, after succesfully deployment check note [779075|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/779075].

If deployment still fails check user & pass given, also parameters you are using.
