Preference: Control Transfer of Bills of Material

Dear Experts

We are currently setting up the preference processing service for both NAFTA and EU.

One of the steps to be executed in the customizing, is the Preference: Control Transfer of Bills of Material.

We are facing the issue where we currently set-up EU but are noat able to set-up NAFTA due to te fact that the system issues an error message for a duplicate key entry.

In the 'Global' Section of program /SAPSLL/SAPLTBOM_R3 we find the following criteria:

Category of BOM --> Set to STATIC

BOM Application --> SD01

Preference Model --> Plant based preference model

Type of Rule Set--> Rule set for EU Preference Agreement

Type of BOM Expl.--> Bottom-Up

When trying to create a second entry for NAFTA

Category of BOM --> Set to STATIC

BOM Application --> SD01

Preference Model --> Plant based preference model

Type of Rule Set--> Rule set for NAFTA Preference Agreement

Type of BOM Expl.--> Bottom-Up

We receive following error message:

Target key must be different from source key

Message no. SV015

Diagnosis

You have attempted to save a copied entry without changing the key.

How can the BOM transfer for NAFTA be customized of no NAFTA entry can be created?
