We recently did an ajdustment to back out SSN taxable wages for 2009. When we run a W2C it is showing correct Box 3 wages but the Box 1 is showing a slight jump in the numbers. While checking the tax tables there should not have been any increase in the Box 1 wages in the W2C. I also see a warning message in the tax reporter under adjustment summary...showing a negative 5PY for an older payroll result.
Please advise,

Check the Wage types assigned to Box1 in W2C and may be there are some Negative 5PY amounts.
Thanks,
ST
