Report RLREOLPQ

Hi

Can someone pls explain to me what report RLREOLPQ is doing? What is the purpose of it?

I have read the SAP standard explanations but I did not get much wiser.

Is there any risks involved in running the report? What are the consequences of running it?

Hi,

The report is used for Continuous inventory. You intend to execute inventory count for all material atleast once in an year. In continuous inventory, you may not perform the count of all materials at once. so, system stores the count dates of each material. so, each time you create PID, system looks up the count date of the included materials. if a specific material is counted in the current year and you try to include it again in PI document, system will not include it again (bins will not appear in PI doc). So, at the end of year, when you are done with PI of all materials, you need to run the report 'RLREOLPQ' to clear the count date and time of previous count from table 'LAGP'. else you will not be able to create PIDs for the next year. Hope this helps.

Hi,

This program is used at the end of "Annual Inventory Counting" in Warehouse Management Storage Locations.

This will reset the inventory count data in all the storage bins and quants, so that for the next annual inventory count, we can create automatic inventory documents.
