Process Chain running out of schedule

Hi All,

We are facing an issue that, the process chain is scheduled to run via RSPC from date X to date Y starting 0000 hrs and last run not beyond 2300 hrs with a periodicity of running every 3 hours.

However this process chain is continuing to execute even after the specified parameters in the start variant.

Please suggest the possible causes of the same and how to fix the same.

Based on your settings the chain should run after every 3 hrs, so

0000, 03,06,09,12,15,18, 21 and again 0000. This should happen from Date X to Date Y.

What is the issue?

The problem is that it is continuing to run after Y date 2300 hours also.

ie if the settings were

no start after 01.06.2010 time 23:00:00

the process chain still gets scheduled and runs on 2nd june , 3rd june and so on until manually removed from the schedule which shouldhav ideally stopped scheduling after 1st june 2300 hrs

I think you have misunderstood the way "No start After" works. This generally comes into play when theer are system outages.
