C4C users & business roles report

Hi Guys,

I need to set a report displaying the number of user logins per business role.

I've been searching in standard data sources but didn't find any relevant one. I've also tried to customize a data source with no success. I can't join available user data sources with "All Business Roles" one because they don't have business role identifier.

Do you have any options to suggest?

Thank you.

KR,

Réda

Hi,

My advise is to check the data source User - Current Status Details CCAB01, as this data source holds business roles and users. Combine it with the data source that is the basis for the Log on Details report. (User Logon Details)

After you combined them, make sure that the rule type which is part of the User - Current Status Details is one of your selection criteria in your report. Role Type = 5 helps you to filter out just the business roles

In your report view you can use characteristics Work center View / Business Role, User and eg. Last Log On date. When you run the report you see per business role the assigned users that have logged on.

(please let us know if this is what you are looking for)

Hi Marie,

Hope you are doing good.

We have a similar requirement for which we have followed the steps that you have mentioned. In the resulting report, we have two sets of data one has user details, date, work center views(this include business roles as well). As you specified earlier, when we filter using the role type, the date column is showing as #.

We even tried to join the data sources, where we managed to get both logon date and business roles, But, there is a slight variance between the total logged in user Count(From the joined report) to that of the actual logged in users count from the user logged on details report.

Kindly suggest if you have any alternative approach to this.

Hi reda.benhousni, I have the same requirement. Did you get to manage a report for users and their business roles?

Hi Redá.
Good day.

Have you tried User Logon Activity reports to see if it doesn't fir better your request?
The field your are looking forward is "Business Partner ID", it is usually on "Business Partner Master Data" or "Party Master Data". I am not sure if these data sources are named exactly this way on Hybris but key words "partner" or "party" will show you the way.

This is a very specific requirement, I don't think it will be quiet possible without implementing solution to reach it.

Hope it can help you.

Best regards.
