Data not appearing at Parent Level

Dear Expert

We are implementing SAP BPC 7.0 NW (SP07)

We have uploaded the data

While extracting the same through BPC reports (basic evdre or dynamic templates) we are getting values for the base level members. But system is not generating any value at parent level members.

Any idea of this problem?

Hi

The problem was due to some u201Crequestsu201D in the infocube which have yellow status. To fix, change the status from yellow to green.

In addition to the above fix, SAP support recommends that we check the following settings :

Goto RSA1 >>> right mouse click on Infocube >>>> Manage

From the menu: Environment >>> Automatic Request Processing

Check if the flag is set to u201CSet Quality Status to OKu201D

According to Support, this setting is the reason why the request status does not automatically change to green

Thanks for the info. I have tried but data is still not appearing at parent level.

If I add the data using Input Schedule I can get the result even at parent. But for the data uploaded using Data Manager package system is not showing the data at all.

Let me know if you have any other suggestion!

Hi Amar,

In the EVDRE, select a parent level member and keep the memberset as BAS, then you are able to see the data?

Now, change only the memberset to SELF, now you are not able to see any data?

Thanks for the reply

Using a blank worksheet when i select parent from CV and BAS in expansion system shows the available values.

However if I moved the same to SELF system is not showing (calculating) value for the said parent.

In case of dynamic temapltes, the system is not showing values for Parent &/or for Base members

Let me know if I am missing something!

Hi,

Process your dimensions and applications and then optimize the application. Please check whether the base level member values are negating themselves or not. For eg, if you have 2 members with values as 200 & -200 then you will not get anything for the parent. However, I feel that this is not the problem. The strange thing is that when it is working on EVDRE, then why not with dynamic templates.

My suggestion would be to open a ticket with SAP. They can look into the system and figure out the problem.

Hi Experts

The issue seems to be associated with the clear package. As initially i am using the clear package from Data Manager. Subsequently I have processes all dimensions and deleted data from the cube.

I got the data at parent level and even in dynamic report templates

what do you mean by deletd data from the cube? Do you delete all the data from BW Cube?

And how it will generate the data at parent level?
