How to "transport" an OLAP Connection from one BI Platform to another?

Hello,

We are upgrading and migrating our BI Platform to a new host. We have a bunch of Lumira Designer applications that have lots of DSs mapped to a BW OLAP connection that is on the old platform. When I opened these applications locally on the new platform via Lumira Designer, I realized that all of the DSs are now referring to some cuid which represents the connection on the old platform. My question now is, how do I "transport" the connection on the old platform to the new one, so that the old OLAP connection also works on the new system (not just as a cuid) and I get prompted for a mapping to a new back-end connection when I try to upload the application to the new BI Platform through Lumira Designer? I guess there must be a way to do this by keeping the same cuid. Of course manually re-mapping all DSs is always an option but I would rather avoid that as there are a few hundred connection references throughout the applications which I need to take care of. I'm sure there's a smarter and easier way of doing this but I'm a BI Platform/CMC noobie so I would appreciate your support.

Thanks,

Dimitar

Hi

You can simple add them to your jobs in Promotion Management and transport.
There's no exceptional case for OLAP connections.
