Dear All,

Realized that when we reset the password to one of the entries exists in USR40, the system will pop up a warning and said that the password is in exception table.

however, after I hit Enter, the system still allow me to reset the password which is exists in exception table.

E.g. password : 123456 is in the USR40. When I reset my id to 123456, a warning pop up and i hit enter, now my password is 123456.

What does this Exceptional table did actually ? Suppose all the passwords in USR40 is restricted to use? But how come I can still use the excepted password ?

Best Regards,

Ken

Hi Ken,

I believe that an end user would not be allowed to set their password to one that is in the execption table. But when an administrator sets a password to one of these, they are only shown a warning.

Kind regards.

Steve.

Is this USR40 table transportable from Dev to Production? I am not able to transport this table and had to make changes to the same table in Q environment. I dont want to open the client in production for the same changes, hence this question.
