How to get the correct value from "R" item-category by FM CS_BOM_EXPL_KND_V1 ?

Hello Experts,

I am trying to use FM CS_BOM_EXPL_KND_V1 to breakdown the Order Bom into mutiple levels for some reports, However we found those BOM components with R(Variable-size item) item-category are not correctly calcualted the quantity from FM CS_BOM_EXPL_KND_V1 .

I can understand that R item-category is used the Object Dependency to calcuate the quantity .

Is any way to get this value ?

That mean we can see different component quantities between CS_BOM_EXPL_KND_V1 and SAP standard Transaction Code CU51 for those R item-category components ...

Not sure how to get the same result as CU51, please help ...
