How to know visual composer has been installed on an EP server.If it's so how to access it

Hi,

Try to access VC from the url http://hostname:port/VC if portal url is http://hostname:port/irj/portal.

How can we see it on the EP system for it has been installed already or not

Should I use like the below if I have many app servers

Hi,

Check by opening the url

http://PORTAL URL/VC but not with http://PORTAL URL/irj/portal/VC .

otherwise check Components Info from the url

http://portalurl/monitoring/ComponentInfo and check sap.com VCBASE,VCFLEX,VCFRAMEWORK ,VCKITGP,VCKITXX are installed?

Hi Fleming ,

If you try and search for the *VC role in User admin , even then you can come to know if its installed in server .

I have assigned the VC role to a user but not gtetting the tab for access

tried with https://PORTAL URL /irj/portal/VC ..but still the same

Hi Flemingnett ,

"VC" should be in CAPITAL Letter..

If you have already assigned VC Role to your userid and then can access using VC url which is already mentioned.

http://<HOST>:<PORT>/VC/default.jsp

The VC components have already got installed

Tried the URL

http://hostname:port/VC

Error after logon

500 Internal Server Error

Application error occurred during request processing.

Hi Flemingnett

Please check the version of the VC componets at

http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo

Also check required software installed or not for accessiing Visual composer like Adobe and SVG view etc.
