Dear,
We need to planning different budgets for the same commitment item and funds center. How can we do this?
Regards,
Allana
Amounts are summed up on the level of a budgetary address (or combination of FM elements, if you don't use budget structure). So, I don't see how it would help you. It is very simple: if you have to distinguish a budget based on a parameter, this parameter should be a part of a budgetary document. This is achieved either by having a distinct FM object or by versions. There is no alternative...

Well, in this case, revise your budget structure... As you might well imagine, you cannot post a different amount on the same dimensions. How would the system be able to distinguish between them?

Example: The commitment item for software, I have to separate the budget for SAP, Oracle, Windows in levels below. I would like to have a text column to classifcated the budget planed.
funds center commitment item text amount
X Y SAP 20.000
X Y ORACLE 30.000
X Y WINDOWS 10.000

Allana
