Wild char is not allowing in selection screen of the bex query

Hi Gurus,

WBS element is in 2 multiproviders. we have created queries on top of these providers. One provider is allowing wild char "" second provider is not allowing wild char "" in selection screen of bex query.

We are in "SAPKW70105" patch.

Please let me know how to allow wild char "*" in the second provider of the query.
