Table RSMPTEXTS: Duplicate record during array insert occured.

Hello,

when I try to install support package 16 for SAP_BASIS component I have this error : Table RSMPTEXTS: Duplicate record during array insert occured.

I have found a solution on sdn but it's not working :

1.) delete the Japaniese lang. entries from table RSMPTEXTS for PROGRNAME = BTFR_COPY or BTFR_COPY_TRALA

2.) run reports: SAPRSEUF, SAPRSEUG (with param 'X')

3.) SE11 for RSMPTEXTS, Utilities->database objects->database utilities->activate and adjust database... after that extras->force conversion

I am able to do the 2 first point but not the third. When I do Extras - > force conversion I hav an ABAP DUMP :

DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR

CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR

The first 2 points do not fix the problem when I retry the Import queue. I'm installing that support package on a ECC 6.0 IDES system.

Hi Nicholas,

please dont apply those steps without checking if they really apply to your scenario.

In the other sdn thread, their were duplicates relating to Japanese language in the table but you need to check the table RSMPTEXTS and find what duplicates exist before you delete something that should no be.

Check if a duplicate still remains in the table, if so make a copy of the contents of the table, then remove the duplicate and repeat the phase.

How can I found out which entry is trying to insert as duplicate? There is 26 millions entries in this table.

I contact SAP and they told me to execute the note 1331202.

It worked for me.
