Message archiving

Hi all

I am facing a issue on message archiving I have done all the steps following the document but when i schedule the archiving i am getting following message

Job started

step 001 starte(program RSXMB_ARCHIVE MESSAGES, variant &0000000000007, user id <user name>

Archiving session 000008 is being created

0 xml message archived

job finshed

I have message to archive but still it is not archiving pls let me know what might be the issue

Hi Jay,

Please start by making sure you have followed SAP Note 872388. This is the main note for archive and deletion in PI.

Sounds like your messages are not flagged for archiving, check the retention periods and the relevant s* tables in SE16 to confirm whether or not the messages are flagged for archiving.

The tables are mentioned in the above note.
