Unable to reuse a calculation view

I successfully created a calculation view with dimension named PRODUCTS and I am trying to reuse it in another calculation of type cube with star join. But when I add the data source as the PRODUCTS calculation view, I am getting an error saying, "view having data category as cube not allowed". Also notice that the columns of the PRODUCTS isn't listed in the Join definition.

In Star Join only DIMENSION type views are allowed (views without measures)

Your PRODUCT data source is of CUBE type so you need to add it before Star Join node and then in Star Join add multiple views of DIMENSION type.

Can you show the definition of the PRODUCTs view (data model) and its properties, especially data category:

Your error indicates that it is CUBE, so it's pretty strange.
