PO release strategy re-triggering when payment terms changed

Release strategy of a PO is re-triggered after PO Payment terms / text changes. But Value or Quantity was never changed.

The release strategy will reset only if the total value is more than the old released value - refer the note: 1961482 - Reset release strategy when version number is set as Characteristic in Customizing

If you are sure that there is no own developments which is altering the standard behavior, let us know what are the characteristics used in CL24N and the values maintained for "old" release strategy existed in the PO and the new one which is determined after the change.

Check the link and see if that helps.

Also check the PO, before you make any changes whether it is outputted or not. If outputted then new release will trigger as per your configuration '6' in changeability indicator.

Hi,

We recently maintained version management for the specific company code. We need the version tab in PO header. But PR shouldn't re-trigger when payment terms change. It should re-trigger only amount/quantity changes. How can I achieve this?
