Hi,
in the portal, the ITS system is configured for SSO (Logon Ticket)?
Your user has the same userID in Portal and ECC?
ECC and portal are running under the same domain?

Yes Tob,
I have same user ID created in portal as well as in ECC also,
complete name of portal server is : XXX. companyname.com AND
complete name of ECC server is : YYY. companyname.com
that is both ECC and portal are running under the same domain Still that login scrren is coming and SSO is not working.

Rahul

Hi,
" SSO logon not possible; browser logon ticket cannot be accepted "
I believe your SSO is not configured properly,
First test the connection between ECC and EP
1. login to portal -> system administration->system confgiuration->select the ECC system right click open->connection tests
make sure that you get a tick mark. againt all in particular for " connection test for connectors"
2. If your test conenciton is not working probably SSO is not confgiured properly.
3. try importing portal certificate to ECC and vice versa
4. in strustsso2 check whether you have added the logon tickets for the clients under ACL.

Hi Rahul,
How you are accessing the Portal URL ??
Using ip address or FQDN ??
Generally you will face this problem , when you try to access portal using IP address.
Thanks
Anil

Hi RAhul,
If you are accessing the portal through ip address , then run the following solution.
1. Login to Portal.
2. Go to System Administration - Support - SAP Application - SAP transcation
3. Select the system which you have created in system TAB.
4. Give any Tcode in Tcode tab
5. select SAP GUI tab as SAP GUI for WINDOWS
6. Click on go.
And let us know the output of above excercise.
Thanks
Anil

what could be the reason
Hi Rahul,

Yes, you need to configure WEB AS .
Select the system object which I have created in system TAB and Give any Tcode in Tcode tab and select SAP GUI tab as SAP GUI for WINDOWs I am getting the login screen first
As you said you get login screen after doing above exercise, check while getting login you should get some error message below the login of sapgui.
Thanks
Anil
Have you imported Portal certificate correctly in ECC Client.
Is PSE status green in STRUSTSSO2
in STRUSTSSO2 , Environement>Logon Tickets>Execute, is everything green
