Planning Book Data view TB profile to view always from First of that month?

HI All,

WE have a planning book with data view Release to release Demand to SNP . Now this data view has Time bucket profile as 250 days in days. This means that everytime we opne the data view you will view time buckets from the day you opened. Say if this is 15th of May , it will show from 15th May.

We wan to show from 1st of that month say if June 15th it whoudl show from June 1st. We can do this by keying in start date in Define Planning book Data view tab. I want to automze this that every month after rollover the start data changes automatically to next month. How do I do this can any help ?

Hi SK,

Did you try to use the Horizon From date and To date fields in the tranaction /SAPAPO/MC90 ?

Program for the above transaction is /SAPAPO/RTSOUTPUT_FCST and you need to go SE38 transaction with the program name and go to variant maintenance . Click varinats attributes

Then on the current date rows >> Selection variable put D and "Name of the variable " - select "First day of the current month".

The next current date rwo ( i.e. To date), you can have current date + 250 days...

We had used dynamic date calculations functionlity so that every week dates will be rolled over automatically.

Pleasse check and confirm.

Thanks Datta for the repsonse . However we are using Process chain job for release profile to release forecast. In relese profile I done see mention of any date ranges.

What I wanted is to view Planning book and Release Data view , from first of the month to next 365 days. As of now what we do is manually change the start date to 1st of the present month every month, and TB Profile (Future ) as 365 days . If I remove start date it shows from today.

What I business requires is always data view should be seen from 1st of the month to next 365 days.

How do we automize this instead of changing start date manually every month in Planning Data view .
