I am a bit lost with that...maybe I should go back

My original issue is that the Connection Test of my RFC connection SLDAPI it gives an error...

DETAIL: TP SAPSLDAPI_EX2 not registered

I guess I have to register it somewhere...it is already created but it is not connecting right, on the other hand my UC and NUC connections they went right. My SLDCHECK went wrong also.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance once again.

If the SLD program is not registered then SLD may not have been setup. Is this a new install of PI? Is the SLD on a different server?

You have to register the program in Visual administrator in case of XI or in PI 7.1 register it in netweaver administrator.

Example, if you are creating an RFC destiniation with SLDAPI_EXX, register this name of the prgram in either VA or NWA.

Looks like you are setting up SLD, search for a note with earch tem SLD and PI post install activities or PI readiness check you'll get all the info.

Hi Pau,

The SLDCHECK txn does a number of checks at various places in the ABAP stack. As for the RFC SAPSLDAPI* you will have to maintain it in the SM59 in the ABAP stack & enter your AS hostname & gateway service, the g/w service is sapgw<instance #>.

Thereafter you'll have to maintain the connections to SLD as well in txn SLDAPICUST. And finally the JCo RFC provider in the SLD J2EE Stack.

The SAP Help Link below provides exact step-by-step solution to this:

It is a new Installation of SOLUTION MANAGER in a single server and then I had to setup the SLD in order to use SOLMAN.

Thanks Joe

RFC configuration is done in SM59.

Correct.

Have you checked the links at the bottom of the blog ?

2. [Configuring the Sender RFC Adapter|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/67/6d0540ba5ee569e10000000a155106/content.htm] - help.sap.com

I don't use PI so cannot be of much further help.

Hi Pau,

You need to enter Application server Host name.

Please have a look at details for Application Host, Gateway Host and Gateway Service. [Click Here |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/6068] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];
