To change communication key text in Infoype 0006

Hi,

I need to change the communication key text in address infotype (0006). As per the standard system there are nine different communication type given (Table T536B), but my client want differnt texts on these communication keys. How come I can change that.Please suggest.

Maintain it via SM30.

Hi,

These texts are maintained as Singles values in domain CMTYP.

1. Go to SE11

2. Select the radio button DOMAIN and give CMTYP

3. Click on DISLPAY

4. Click on the tab VALUE RANGE. Here you will be able to see all the nine texts and keys.

If you want to change it then you will have to get the access key to modify this SAP object.

Once you have object key then

follow steps 1 and 2

then

3. Instead of DISPLAY click on change

4. Click on the tab VALUE RANGE and change the text
