CBTA is not launching

Hi All,

We have configured Solman 7.2 SP04. When i tried to record the using CBTA, tool itself is not launching and executable is navigating to SUT.

Please let me know the solution for this issue. Any notes to be implementated?

Hello Pradeep,

Please check below:

- Has the tool CBTA been configured in SOLMAN_SETUP ?

- Selfcheck from the Administration tile of Test Suite, was the selfcheck successful ?

- have you setup connectivity to target system ?

- Are you able to launch the executable by clicking on the executable you are automating from solution documentation ?

- Have enabled scripting in the target system ?

Please ensure your sapgui/user_scripting parameters are set correctly in the System under test per SAP Note 2423755. Also take a look at KBA 2629909 - Component-Based Test Automation: Resolving Unable to record issues - Guided Answers
