Does CTM support multilevel ( Fert and Halb ) capacity planning??

Hi Gurus,

Wanted to explore CTM for a consumer product company. Require ment is two level capacity planning simultaniously..means if my FERT capacity is 300, Halb capacity is 200....and if demand is 500..CTM result should be 200 as HALB is the constraint.

I know Optimizer does this , but not sure of CTM??

Wanted to know if CTM supports Shelf Life ?? As i know it is not.

Hi Priya,

in APO CTM, we can execute a multi-level, finite planning of the demands in the supply chain. So your scenrio would be supported in CTM.

We can have the APO system select all master data required to cover a demand. If we enter a specific location product, transportation lane, or source of supply for in-house production, the system selects all location products, sources of supply for in-house production, and transportation lanes that are related to the master data object specified across all BOM levels.

A limited shelf-life is supported from SCM 7.0 u2013 CTM.Detailed can be found in oss note 579556.
