F4 OPTION IN RESULTS RECORDING

Is it possible to keep some standard values as master data and assign it to specific characteristic. so that when i am entering results for that characteristics i will just select as a dropdown.

I tried creating a seperate catalogue type and assigning those values and used it in a selected set. I assigned the selected set to the MIC and assigned it to the inspection plan. But when i tried to enter results it does not give me a drop down. I tried both qualitative and quantitative.
