SAP Cost centre distribution rule

Hi,

Can someone help with the cost centre distribution rules creation process ?

Requirement is that an overhead is entered in cost centre 10000

this needs to be split 50/50 between cost centres 20000 and 30000 keeping the primary cost element.

Hi,

You may try following steps:

1. Create Cost center Group, tcode KSH1 - this should have cost centers 20000 & 30000

2. Go to tcode KSV1 for creation of distribution cycle.

3. Enter required details like start date of cycle, text etc.

4. Click on attach segment button at the top. Keep first tab as 100% if you want to distribute cost center 10000 completely.

Keep receiver rule as fixed percentage.

5. In second tab sender/receiver enter cost center and cost element via which you want to distribute.At the bottom as receiver, enter the cost center group created as step 1.

6. Now in Receiver tracing factor tab enter the distribution percentage as 50-50 to both the cost centers.

Save your changes and execute the cycle via KSV5 to see the results.
