Could I import different RFCs in one model node

Hi all,

I have developed a Java Web Dynpro application in which I have two dcs.

1> Model Dc

and 2> View Dc.

I have imported the RFC in Model Dc and then added it in public part.

I then added the Model as used DC in the second dc.

The code is ruuning fine.

Earlier, I imported the SRM RFC.

Now, I need to import another ECC RFC.

Should I go for same model name in the model DC and then reimport the model?

Or I should create a new model in the model DC for ECC pupose?

According to my understanding the ECC must have a different Modelname in the model DC.

    Hi Kaushik

When you are getting RFC from ECC and SRM.

1.First you have to create Technical system through sld for ECC and SRM.

    2. By using the technical system we can create Jcou2019s for ECC and SRM

When you import RFC from ECC that time you can use ECC JCou2019s same as SRM Also.

    Hi Kaushik.

Since the new RFC is from an ECC system, it would be better to create a new model and import under it. this would also help you in separating the 2 models which are from different systems and maintenance would be easier.
