master recipe

Hi Gurus,

i know that it is possible to copy a master recipe in another master recipe, qhat my customer want to do is not to copy the entire master recipe but only QM steps, MIC's, Calculations and not to copy the entire recipe because this already exist.

can you help me?

Hii,

You cannot copy QM steps at operation level, but u can copy all the MIC;s from one receipe to other receipe at the charcteristics level along with the formula. First u manitain the operation level simply by copying from other receipe, then select any one operation line item and then click Charac tab at the botton of Receipe screen then system shows Charcteristics overview screen.

Here selcect 1st line item and then click copy insp char tab at the top. Here u can choose Receipe grp & grp counter from which u want to copy. System shows all the operations available in that grp no which can be sorted by selecting tick mark & copy. Sytem copies all mic from old recipe/opertaion to new resipe .operation.

Note:

System copies all the formula & formula paramters but it wont activate the formula. Formula tab need to activated manually.

Hi,

For this, you can proceed by copying the inspection plan, instead of the master recipe. By copying the Inspection plan, all the MICs will get copied.

Please try the transactions QP01/02.
