Why work order don't have the BOM item classification data and routing item classification data ?

Hi,

When we create a BOM by CS01, we can assign a classification data (type 018) to the bom item data ;

when we create a routing by CA01, we can assign a classification data (type 040) to the routing item(operation) data;

but when we create a work order by CO01, the work order take in the BOM and Routing data but without these 2 classification data ?

I want the work order have these 2 classfication data in work order and can change them in work order, can anybody help me ?

Or anybody can tell me how to create a screen enhancement in the work order component ?

Actually what we have done is that we customized the production order print out with VC data and order data. This way you can achieve what you required. you cannot see in production order.

So customize your order print out with classification data from sales order to relevant production order.

You have to use material variant or sales order for getting the classification data in the production order.

Generally production order will not have classification data but sales order or material master do. Check the BOM with cu51 after selecting the values in characteristics.
