Cost is not displaying in Cost tab

Hi experts

i make a breakdown maintenance order (iw31) , and use control key pm03 in operation for external service PR is generated by entering all the data , like vendor Purc. group, material group, service text , price , cost element , and then PR genreated

'but the plannig cost is not displying in cost tab

please guide where i am missing something

Hi ,

Check whether in OIOF Costing Variant is assigned to your order type .

Check if cost elements are assigned to valuation categories

Check wehther the control key PM03 allows costing or no ..

Ensure cost element is maintained in the default value profile for PM External Operation data

Hi,

Have you maintained the costing variant for the plant which you used first. Goto OKP6, click om PM01 if its not there define or copy from some other costing variant & double click on that.

Click Valuation variant & define the parameters for external processing then click valuation variant / plant define that for the required plant.

Go to the cost tab and click on the Rep Plan/Act button to see if your costs are displayed there.

If they are, then its a problem with your value categories.

If not, then check the Control tab to see if there are values in the CstgVariantPlan and CstgVariantActl field, If not, then see the posts above.

If neither of the above are relevant, then check the Operation Control Key to see if its relevant for costing

then i go to control tab

Here no data was in parameter

then i made a another order in sam eclient but for +_different plant_+ and in that order cost was updated

Cost was displaying for that plant

and following data in parameter in control tab

You can set these values as follows:

Hi,

Check whether you have maintained costing variant for Maintenance plant. Go to OKP6, there you have to maintain costing variant for the plant.
