SPED inbound delivery error in vl02n

Hi friends ,

When I run the SPED in vlo2n to generate IBD , I am getting an error . The error message is VL383 .

The have made the item catg determination EL + NORM+ V + ELN but still getting this error .

Please suggest

Hello Man,

Did you try to first create the inbound delivery manually? The issue might not be really in the SPED output but in the inbound delivery creation itself.

Issue resolved . I was as using batch split and hence system could not identify the item catg.

But there is a config. setting to resolve that too .

Hi Manu,

SPED is basically used to create Inbound Delivery in case of Intra-company STO, where your Item category must be "U", in PO you might have forget to mention item category this is why you are getting this issue!

Sorry Ankur but you are not completely correct. The item category could be "U", but not necessary as the SPED could also be used in INTER-company STOs in which the item category could be blank.

I checked this error message through debugging and found if you leave blank Item category then this issue will come!

Thank you very much Ankur . But SPED can be user for intra /inter STO transactions . IN my case it is Inter STO business transaction
