PIR auto Firming during Year change

Hello,

During the change of year 2018 -2019, in the first week of Jan'2019 we observed that few of the requirements (Planned Orders) were firmed automatically in Stock Requirements list view (MD04), though no changes were carried. We have to delete them manually again. I am looking for the Root Cause of the issue.

Is there is any linkage, update that may happen during the year change which may cause this.

Planned orders should be firmed automatically in the following situations:

1 - You are using a MRP type with firming and a time fence.

2 - A planned order created by MRP is manually changed.

In the first case, the order is dynamically firmed, that means, the firming indicator is not set. In the second case, the firming indicator is set in the planned order and in table PLAF, therefore, if you see the firming indicator in table PLAF, it means they were manually changed and you can find the user who made that change in table PLAF.
