Reg KANBAN process

Hi ..

This is regarding KANBAN process

1. New KANBAN Card created. This will have status 'Wait' initially

2. Changed status to 'Empty' but this didn't created replenishment

3.. Now i changed to 'FULL' When i go to PK13N i see this card as Green '001-' what this '-' means?

4. Now i changed status back to Empty, now replenishment is triggered correctly

5. When i change to Full , GR posted correctly

6. Now all working fine with every status change

Just wondering when new KANBAN card is introduced do we need to do a complete cycle i mean Wait >Empty >Full ???

What could be the reason, any pointers
