Hi Experts,
We are planning to migrate our Business Objects BI Platform systems from one data center to another data center. As part of data center migration, we installed blank BI Platform 4.2 SP6 along with Explorer, Lumira. We successfully took Full content promotion export of source system to lcmbiar file using Promotion Management Wizard and we are getting above error while importing the lcmbiar to destination(blank system) live CMS. Souce CMS running on BI platform 4.2 SP2. Any idea on this?
Check this KB
2066486 - After promotion getting error "The 0 plug-in does not exist in the CMS" in destination BI 4.1 environment.
Eventhough it is referring older version, it may be the reason .You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Use the promotion management version to export the content from higher version connect to lower Probably you are seeing the issue because you exported the content using lower environment and trying to import to higher version of Business Objects

Hi Jawahar,
As per the SAP Note: 2531264 - Best Practices for Promotion Management Wizard (PMW) Tool, I think PMW Can be used to promote across any 4.x to 4.x servers as long as they are at same major version (i.e. 4.x) and the movement is from a lower to higher SP/patch level [ Eg: 4.0/4.1/4.2 to 4.2 etc].
That error will be generated if you're migrating content that is supported in the source environment but not the target. For example, if you have installed Lumira server in the source and are attempting to migrate Lumira documents. I would check the installed components on the source and target environments to make sure they are the same.

Hi Denis,
Thanks for the prompt response. I don't see any issues with sample reports and also raised SAP support incident under BI-BIP-LCM component.
Thanks & Regards,
Suneel.

This might indicate that the new system is not installed properly.
You should review install logs for any issues and test if sample reports work in there.
You should also log SAP support incident under BI-BIP-LCM component for proper investigation.
