error message: Ship-to party 1111 not defined for sales area 1000 01 50

Hi friends,

I created a new division 50 reference the one available. I maintained all the combination in sales area as far as I know.

When created SO, I got a error message saying " Ship-to party 1111 not defined for sales area 1000 01 50". Message No VP210

Please advise where I missed configuration.

Hi,

Maintain the ship-to-party 1111 under the sales area 1000 01 50.

Also maintain common distribution Channel and division by using the T.Codes VOR1 and VOR2.

If you are using common Distribution channel and Division, make sure the Division field in material master: sales org 1 should be empty.

  Same error got to me while creating delivery to site 8320. Message was

"Ship-to party C8320 not defined for sales area 8300 01 00"

Message no. VP210

.

I have created customer C8320 for the Sales Org-8300, Dist Channel-01, Division-00 with all parameters. And now delivery is working fine.

Hi Linda,

This is common scenario, when a new division is added to the organization structure you extend the sales documents to sales areas however the master data also needs to be extended. You would have to extend the respective ship to party to the required sales area.

First go to VOR2 & check the settings with respect to Sales Organization & Division.If in Divcus Column Division 50 is there ,then extend the Customer to the Sales Area with Division 50.

But if DivCu is different then extend the Customer to that Division accordingly.
