Dear Experts,
in SAP Marketing Cloud I create a campaign using the "Transfer Leads"-app.
Besides the name I also enter a description for the lead.
Executing this transfer, the Lead is handed over to the Sales Cloud.
In the Sales Cloud I can see the Lead with the name I entered as a name in Marketing Cloud.
But I don't see the description anywhere in the lead.
Analyzing the issue using the WebService-Monitor in C4C I can see the description in the incoming payload.
TypeCode 10001 in our system means it has to be in the Note-field. But that field is empty.
We're using the standard iFlow provided by SAP.
Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong or can confirm that the description usually has to be in that note field?
BR Tobias
Hi shivanand.hangaragi & andreas.jaeckle,
there was a new version of the integration package available which has been deployed by our CPI team.
Now by default the payload looks like that.
Do I have to replace "EN" by "DE" if I want to see it in German?
But even if I choose English as system language for my login to the Sales Cloud, I can't see the description in the note field.
Any ideas?
BR Tobias

Hi schneidert ,
Did you get this issue resolved? We are facing exactly the same issue. The lead notes and language are transferred in the message from Marketing Cloud to Sales Cloud but they do not get persisted in the Lead in Sales Cloud.
Kind Regards,
Markus
Hi markusgrant,
no, I have still no solution for that. Please let me know if you have an idea or are able to fix the issue.
Best regards
Tobias
Hi schneidert ,
Solved the problem!
This blog gave a few pointers:
https://blogs.sap.com/2017/06/12/text-collection-integration-in-cloud-for-customer/
The setting we were missing was the fine-tuning activity "Communication Language for Data Replication".
Hope it helps!
Kind Regards,
Markus
Hi Tobias,
Yes from data point of view, irrespective of the incoming language code, the text would be saved exactly the same as being sent(without language), however as mentioned in the blog, for integration process you need to have a language code maintained in the fine-tuning which should match to the code coming in the payload.

Dear Tobias,
You can configure language code via value mapping "CUAN LogicalSystem -> COD CommunicationLanguage" contained in Integration package "SAP Cloud for Customer Integration with SAP Marketing"
Best regards,
Andreas

Dear Tobias,
Based upon the screenshot of the payload, it seems that language code is missing. This is the reason why note is not updated in C4C.
Kindly go through this Blog which explains the text collection replication in detail.
