Does anyone know if there is a practical limit to the size of the CM repository? Can I have 100 GB of data? 1 TB? 100 TB?

Ok. That is the "textbook" answer. Does anyone have any experience with a practical limit? According to the links you both provided, it looks like there is no limit to the total size of the CM repository (we have it implemented as DB, not DBFS or FSDB). Has anyone seen problems crop up when it gets "too big" or is there no such thing as "too big"?

Thanks for all of your response. It sounds to me like no one has really encountered a limit. This is good to know.

Hi,

If the Content Management repository is DataBase Mode, all data (documents, folders, and metadata) is stored in the database.

As all documents are stored in the database, this avoids unintentional external manipulation of the data.

In the case of a database, the maximum size is the total of all CM repositories located in the database.

This means allocation of Database size is directly proportional to KM size.
