Default batch characteristics

Hello!

I have created a batch class 023 for a material and a number of new characteristics. For some of the characteristics such color and temperature I want to mantain only once the values at the creation of the material and then this values to be carried automatically when I access the classification view of that material. Now even if I set this values in the material master when I access the classification view at the goods receipt this values doesn't appear. Please help me set this values as default in the material master.
