HI Floks,

We have MDM extractor 5.5 in ECC and WE are using MDM 7.1 can any body let me know how to extract the data from ECC,using MDMGX t.CODE.I

Hi,

Using MDMGX transaction Code, we can extract Check tables data. please find the steps below.

1. Define Object types.(Ex: Customer , Material)

2. Define Repositories and FTP Servers.

3.Upload Ports and Check tables

4. Maintain Ports and check tables

5.Define function module perameters for exceptional cases

6. Start extraction. ( here you can down load to local system also).

To extract main table information use transaction code MDM_CLNT_EXTR

1.whether we can use the ECC 5.5 extractor for MDM 7.1 version.

Yes, we can use ECC 5.5 Generic Extractor. You can set up and execute the extraction using transaction MDMGX. For more implementation information see SAP Note 964991.

2.what are the FTP server name since the MDM 7.1 has in built FTP server.

Separate FTP servers are not required.
