NULL replication

Hi,
Below is an excerpt from a report on the latest SLT, in regard to NULL value replication.

"The replication of null values (the option Replicate NULL Values) is only supported if the source system is a nonABAP system and the target system is an SAP HANA database."

Our target is non-sap database as well (MS SQLServer).

So for this case, does any one know what happens when a NULL value is encountered? SLT stops? Writes some error msg for that record, and moves to the next record? etc.

Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
