Excel to WebI

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know if Excel sheet Data can be imported to Webi and make our Report??

I have Excel sheet with 10,000 Rows,i want to import that and want to see Charts etc.

Is it possible??

Webi reports can be created using Excel as data provider.

You can either use WebI rich Client or WebI report panel in InfoView.

Yes Web-I reports can be created through excel files but only via Web-I Rich Client.

For using WebI report panel in InfoView first you need to create an universe on the excel sheet, then you create web-I report

on that universe.

In the webi rich client you can import the excel file and create a query on it where as WEBI from inforview just works with universe.

So if you want to export data from excel to infoview and want to create webi report onto it , then first just create universe on excel.
