Ibase and service interval

Hello

I would like to set how often my Ibase should be serviced (automatically service order should be created when some

period passed).

What should I use? Service Plan (i cannot incorporate Ibase to Service Plan)? Service Contract?

Regards

Radek

    Hi Radek,

You can use service plan item in contracts or even you can use Service plan with line item SPMP. Under the item in the Object list , Ibase can be maintained.

And the interval in the service plan product will decide after what duration the service order will get generated from the plan for that particular Ibase.

    Regards,

The biggest gap in this is that the service plan will run continuously generating orders and there is no way to stop it since there are no end dates for the service intervals. Also you cannot have two time based intervals say Jan to Jun - Weekly service and Jul to Dec Monthly. Has anyone tried this and succeed?

HI You can use Service Plan Line item (SPLA) as a sub item for a main Service Contract item in Service COntracts

or use a Service Plan Transaction as the transaction document for your design..

    Thanks
