Importing full file, but shoulod not syndicate if no changes

Hi Guru's,

I have a scenario where in I am enhancing the existing repository and adding two attributes one as multi-valued look-up table and other as multi-valued tuple.

I am getting a full file always to load these attributes. I have tried to get changes only, but did not work out. I am able to load the data and update the records(Create, changes and deletes) in both the attributes using replace command available in Import manager at the field level.

My problem is, even if there is no change in those fields, since it is a replace there ia an unwanted realtime syndication happening which is already built by other projects. How can I avoid the syndication? OR otherwise is there a way to update only the changes(keep in mind I cannot change my source file which is always full file)

Please provide me a solution.

    Hello MDMStarter

You should enter changes in your previous syndication map because in that map new fields are upsent

You can use "suppress unchanged records" mode for syndicate only "delta" records

and then change that records in your source

    Hi,

In your Syndicator map, make sure you have Checked the Suppress Unchanged Records property and save the map again.

The prerequiste is: Requires the current tableu2019s Key Mapping property on MDM Console is set to Yes

Syndicator offers a Suppress Unchanged Records option which tracks whether or not a record has changed since the last time it was syndicated to a particular remote system. If the record has not changed, Syndicator automatically excludes it from the set of records to be syndicated. If the record is new, it will be added to the set of records to be syndicated.

    Thanks,

    Priti

Thanks for your responses, but What I wanted is can I check if a similar record exists before importing the data, but also will be able to update, create and delete records (not using replace, which will result in unwanted syndication)
