Order against assembly or functional location

Dear All,

While I am creating PM02 order with assemblly or FL or with out any technical object system througing error as :

Field 'Equipment' must still be filled

Message no. IW464

Diagnosis

The field &1 has been defined as a required entry field in your company, but is still empty.

Procedure

Enter the required data in the field &1.

for rest of order types like PM01 everything is smooth. But for PM02 the above error is througing ...

could you tell the reson for he above

Hi,

In the cnoifguration for the order type PM02 it has maintained as mandatory field for the equipment. Thats why you are not able to create without equipment.

If you dont want you have to change the configuration for field setting

Dear DP... Equipment field is not mandatory...As I told you PM01 order type is running well... filed mandatory is not specific for order type...hope so..

any other reason

Hi,

Field mandatory can be maintained in order type level also. Please check your configuration setting at

Define Field Selection for Order Header Data (PM).
