SHD0 standard variant not transportable

Hi,
In SHD0 I've created a transaction variant for transaction code FB50 to hide a button. This is transportable.

When I go into Tab Standard Variants and subtab Standard Variants and click the active/deactivate button accordingly I have no way of getting this into a transport. I had to manually do it in my test system. Now im concerned this also must be done in live. There are lots of SHD0 threads about how to create the transaction variant and transport it but nothing on the activation and whether that's is transportable or not.

Dear Dave,

As far as I know this is a cut over activity. You have to do it directly in production after changes are moved.
