Dear MH

Your issue can be solved with the help of credit manahement functionality.

First in OVAK set D in credit check column. and credit group as 01.

now in OVA8 check the field old open item.

Set the reaction as A(warning)

In days oldest item u set 1 day.

so by doing this system will show the warning messege if payment period exceed in sales oreder but won't block your sales order.

Hi,

You can activate the automatic credit control for the sales order. Go to VOA8 for the respective credit control area, risk category and credit group.

Activate check on the oldest open item as "A" and maintain no. of days as 1 .

Assign the automatic credit control for the respective sales order.

hope this will resolve your issue .

Hi,

Pls use Credit check functionality for this.Pls go through as follows:

1.Creat & Assign Credit control Area with Sales Area

2.Select the order type & item category relevant for credit check (OVAK ,OVAD & OVA7)

3.Set up the Risk catrgory(in this case you can use simplest one)-OVA8

4.Keep the open item selecttion checked with reaction type "C"

5.Assign the customer with Control Area (FD32)

Pls do revert if any other help is required.

Hi

Check Credit Limit This field helps you activate/deactivate credit checks for your

document type. The available options are as follows:

= Blank: Select this if you do not want to run a credit check on your sales document type.

= A: This runs a simple credit check with a warning message displayed when a credit check

for the document fails.

= B: This runs a simple credit check with an error message displayed when a credit check

for the document fails.

= C: This runs a simple credit check and blocks the delivery for the sales document if the

credit check for the document fails.

= D: This runs a rule-based automatic credit check. The value D in this field represents

that OR is using automatic credit checks.
