Regarding Value contract and Quantity contract

Hello,

Issue is when i created the value contract during creation of RO if value is more than the contract then system should not allow to save the RO but where as system should allow to change the quantity in RO. as per the requirement I did message configuration value is error and quantity is warning so its working good

Where as when look at the Quantity contract during creation of RO if Quantity cross the contract quantity then system shoud not allow to save the RO, but system should allow to change value during creation of RO.

So already I have done the message config settings for value contract

now same way I want to do for Quantity contract also (Vice Versa)

for me way is not appearing because already i have used two messages one is error second is warning so now no messages are to fix it

so please help me and guide me for further action

Dear,

Check (IMG): Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Environment Data -> Define Attributes of System Messages,

Target quantity exceeded by & & is available...

If so, change it to E - Error.

Try this, hopefully it works (since you mention RO).

Hi,

If you want the RO cannot exceed Contract limit, that you should maintain in Configuration:

SPRO> MM> Purchasing> Environment data>Define attibutes of system message-->system message -->

set appl 06 and Msg No 042 to "E"(error msg)

If you are using target value: set appl 06 and Msg No 155 to "E"(error msg ) & save.

Hi Biju,

First please try to understand the issue which I have been posting.

What I was telling that for Value contract set up the message as a error message so if RO value is more than the contract value system does not allow to save RO. Quantity related message set up as a warning message due to this for same value contract during creation of RO system will allow to change the Quantity (this set up has done only per Value contract)

In same way

Now I want to set up for Quantity contract (Vice Versa)

In this case during creation of RO if Quantity is higher than the contract system should not allow to save RO but in this case system should be in a position to allow to change the Value .

So concerned to Contract two types of messages are so two off them already i have set up for Value contract.

Now in same way I want to set up for Quantity contract also but there are no messages to be setup

so please advice
