Adding strategy to plan is not possible

Former Member

Hi guys,

I'm trying to add a strategy to the inspection plan, for the sake of stability study on IDES.

I normally used to make it with no problems with best practices, I create the plan, then in trx CWBQM at the header level I add the strategy, then an the operation level in trx CWBQM I start to assign packages of the strategy to the operation.

The problem is that in IDES I'm not able to make the step of assigning packages to the operation, I used to see the icon (LAMP) of maintenance packages, beside inspection characteristics, at the operation level, but in IDES this icon is not present, so I'm not able to assign packages to the operation.

Does any body have any idea how can I solve this issue?

Regards,

MaX

Max,

If you have a chance, check the Badi's that have been implemented in the two systems. In particular, you probably should look at the ones under Quality Planning,

particulary: Business Add-In for Menu Enhancements in the EWB

You might also check the Badi's under the Stability Study area as well. I'm not sure if any of these apply but you may find you need to work with some of these to get what you are seeing. In IDES sometimes not all the available BaDi's are actually implemented in some areas.

These are just ideas. I'm not sure you'll actually find the problem here but it is where I would start looking.

Hi Fire, actually it is not about BADIs, I found in the customization for the EWB that there is a flag "PACKAGE" have to be marked up, thanks a lot for your continuous help.

Max,

Can you provide me with some details on that piece of customization? I looked through the stability section and the EWB section under Quality Planning but I don't see a flag for "PACKAGE" anywhere.

Go to the part of define work area, you will find 2 work areas, choose one of them, in the next screen there will be a part named "Contained in Working Area", there you will find Package below PRT.

Hi mayank,

This is a Work Bench for Quality Module which you can use for inspection plan creation, changes etc. In this CWBQM, as you are choosing a plan by levels, like header level, operation level etc different user can edit the plan at a time if the are doing it in different levels. Functionality inside CWBQM and QP02 are almost the same.

Experts can add into it.
