Team,

We have 4 companies

plant -1

plant -2

plant -3

plant -4

Allthese plant will be taking care by a HEAD QUARTERS, this HQ is in Plant - 1 and this is a separate entity. So while creating Enterprise structure we are considering 4 plants as PA, so do we need to consider HEAD QUARTERS as 5 th PA.

Hi REX,

You can create the Head Quarter as "Company Code".

legally only 2 companies and 4 plants, 2 separate GL and other financial entities, and also existing 2 company codes are there.

Hi Rex,

Before deciding on it, you need to consider the groupings for Personnel Area and & Personnel Sub-Area in V_T001P_ALL.

In one way you can make the HQ as Personnel Area, and Plants as Personnel Sub Areas.

As you told the HQ is part of Plant-1, but a separate entity.

You can do different ways, but to suggest that exactly we need to know the total business process.

You need to consider the Locations of the Plants, legal / statutory obligations, Holiday calenders, Leave quotas, Work schedules, Allowances, Shift premiums, Time Recording etc., into consideration before taking any decision on this.

Hope this helps.

VENU,

we need to consider the Locations of the Plants, legal / statutory obligations, Holiday calenders, Leave quotas, Work schedules, Allowances, Shift premiums, Time Recording etc.,

So which one is prefrerable,

Plant -1 COCode 1000

plant 2, 3, 4, - co code 2000

can we consider HQ only for org structure

right now we are going with

eg:

Plant 1 - PA

Operation-PSA

Maintenance PSA

Admin - PSA

where we can club HQ here since it is common for all..?
