I am attempting to uninstall Crystal Reports XI Release to before I install Crystal Reports 2008. This is a process I already followed on my development PC and a shared development PC for my team. Now, we're ready to conduct our QA release of this upgrade, but the uninstall on our QA Terminal Server is failling.
I open up the Control Panel and click on Add/Remove Programs. Then, I highlight Crystal Reports XI Release 2 and click "Remove". The uninstaller appears to run to the very last step and then an error dialog box is displayed with the following error:
Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file:
What can I do to cleanly remove Crystal Reports XI Release 2 so I can install Crystal Reports 2008 as part of my QA release?
